This policy explains how JCK Carpentry & Building ("we", "us"), run by Jake Killen as a sole trader from 16 Bridge Road, Exeter, uses personal information. We are the data controller for information you give us.

- Your address and any information needed to visit, quote for, carry out and invoice the work.

- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a site visit (steps taken at your request before a contract).
- To quote for, carry out and invoice your work (performance of a contract).
- To keep records we're required to keep, such as for tax (legal obligation).
We don't sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
Only where needed for your job, for example trusted trades working on your project, and the service providers that run our website, email and enquiry system. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted when no longer needed. Customer records are kept for as long as needed for guarantee, legal and tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing enquiries@jckcarpentryandbuilding.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
